A leading global engineering and consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Distribution Project Engineer to support and lead the delivery of distribution projects across a growing portfolio of infrastructure and technology-driven work.

The Role
In this position, you will:
- Lead and deliver overhead and underground distribution projects (up to 34.5kV) from design through execution
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers and designers
- Manage project performance across scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Work directly with clients to develop solutions, present designs, and guide project outcomes
- Contribute to project strategy, process improvements, and overall team growth
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables, calculations, and design packages
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
- Support client communication, project alignment, and issue resolution
- Provide technical leadership on distribution line design and engineering solutions
- Oversee and review work from junior staff while supporting team development
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in distribution engineering (4kV-34.5kV)
- Experience with overhead and/or underground distribution design
- Strong understanding of NESC, NEC, and utility standards
- Experience working with utility clients (IOU experience preferred)
- Ability to manage projects and communicate directly with clients
- PE license preferred (or on track)
