Electrical Project Engineer
Company Summary: A leading energy infrastructure company is looking to bring on an Electrical Project Engineer to grow their team! The team works on Utility Scale BESS projects across North America and has one of the largest development pipelines to date. The Electrical Project Engineer will support the EPC team in technical evaluation, design, and execution of utility-scale energy storage projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee conceptual project design, including major equipment selection, site layout, and interconnection planning, ensuring alignment with Jupiter's technical standards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, acting as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal departments to drive project success.
Review and ensure compliance of detailed engineering designs, managing third-party engineers and maintaining technical documentation and standards.
Support project development and construction phases, including site visits, permitting, RFIs, submittal reviews, and quality control oversight.
Drive continuous improvement, identifying risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and applying lessons learned to enhance processes and future project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years design experience in power and energy industry
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Renewable Energy project experience
