Environmental Field Team Supervisor

Environmental Field Team Supervisor - Perth

Lead from the front. Make a tangible impact on WA's landscapes.

We're working with a highly respected, purpose-driven environmental services company based in Perth that specialises in ecological restoration and revegetation. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, science-backed fieldwork across Western Australia, this small but passionate team is looking for a capable and motivated Field Team Supervisor to help lead their on-ground operations.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role - perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading small teams, and seeing the direct results of their work in the natural environment.

About the Role

As Field Team Supervisor, you'll be responsible for executing revegetation and seed collection plans, managing day-to-day field operations, and leading a team of casual field staff. You'll work closely with project managers and directors to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This is not a desk job - it's a boots-on-the-ground role for someone who thrives in the field and takes pride in motivating others and getting the job done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead small field teams in the delivery of revegetation, seed collection, and land restoration projects
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks based on project requirements
  • Monitor team productivity and ensure safe, efficient work practices
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to casual field staff
  • Report progress and issues to project managers and directors
  • Maintain equipment and ensure field resources are well managed

About You

  • Experience supervising small teams in a field-based or outdoor work environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow and implement work plans
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in remote or rugged outdoor conditions
  • Environmental background is helpful but not essential - leadership, reliability, and work ethic are key

Why Join?

  • Be part of a small, passionate team making a real difference in WA's natural landscapes
  • Work outdoors in a role that's active, rewarding, and varied
  • Enjoy a supportive, down-to-earth culture with strong values and a clear mission
  • Immediate start available

If you're a strong team leader who enjoys working outdoors and wants to be part of something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat.
