F&B Manufacturing I&C Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Installation & Commissioning (I&C) Engineer to support projects within the Food & Beverage sector across Japan. In this position, you will oversee the installation, commissioning, and on-site management of process equipment, contributing expertise throughout both the bidding and execution phases.
The role requires close collaboration with internal Engineering, Automation, and Project Management teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate project costs related to I&C deliverables, including:
- Skidded units and pre-assembled equipment at supplier workshops
- Site preparation, handling, and lifting activities
- Mechanical installation work (electrical installation is handled separately by the Automation team)
- On-site management and process commissioning
- Estimate task durations and develop I&C-related schedules for project timelines
- Prepare tender documentation for equipment and service suppliers
- Review supplier proposals and monitor quality, cost, and progress during execution
- Support aftermarket activities as needed
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth and aligned project delivery
Travel Requirements
- This position involves frequent domestic travel across Japan.
Language Requirement:
- Businss level English and Japanese
