A nationally recognized engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to join its growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects across the real estate, oil & gas, and public infrastructure sectors, while working in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations
- Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations
- Prepare boring logs and develop lab testing programs
- Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations
- Deliver technical reports and foundation recommendations
- Provide design input for:
- Building foundations
- Cut and fill slopes
- Retaining walls
- Landslide remediation
- Roadway rehabilitation
- Oversee construction materials testing (earthwork, concrete, foundations, masonry, pavement)
- Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of geotechnical experience (consulting preferred)
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geology (M.S. a plus)
- E.I.T. or G.I.T. certification required
- P.E. or P.G. license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with geotechnical software and analysis tools

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000/year, based on experience
- Annual performance-based bonus
