About the Role:
A leading mechanical construction firm is seeking experienced HVAC and Plumbing Estimators to support its growing portfolio of high purity piping projects in the Raleigh area. These projects serve critical environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing facilities, where precision and compliance are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC and plumbing scopes, with a focus on high purity piping systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate takeoffs and pricing.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to align scope and budget.
- Evaluate vendor quotes, labor rates, and material costs for specialized piping systems.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings and client presentations.
- Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement in estimating processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing estimating, preferably in high purity or process piping environments.
- Strong understanding of cleanroom standards, cGMP requirements, and mechanical system integration.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., QuoteSoft, FastPIPE, Trimble, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and process piping drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
