About the Role
A nationally recognized General Contractor with a strong industrial portfolio is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex ground-up industrial projects across the U.S. Initial assignments will be based in Minneapolis, with future opportunities nationwide.
This role is ideal for a seasoned construction leader with experience in food & beverage facilities, cold storage, semiconductor plants, manufacturing, or EV battery projects.
What Makes This Role Unique?
- Structured Hybrid Schedule: Work onsite for 2 weeks, then remotely from home every 3rd week-providing a predictable and balanced work-life rhythm.
- Travel Support: All travel expenses covered, including flights, lodging, transportation, and per diem.
- Strategic Home Base: While travel is required, it's a plus if you're based near Phoenix, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, or Tampa, where the GC has regional offices and future project pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of industrial project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and consultants to ensure technical excellence.
- Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and guide project engineers and assistant PMs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on industrial or mission-critical facilities.
- Proven success managing large-scale, ground-up projects in sectors such as cold storage, food processing, EV battery, or semiconductor.
- Willingness to travel nationally and work onsite in a rotating schedule.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, and other construction management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
