IP Director - Damages & Litigation Support
We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Director to join a leading national boutique specializing in complex IP matters. In this role, you will work closely with the Service Line Leader & Managing Director based in San Diego while contributing to some of the most significant and challenging cases in the industry. The successful candidate can be based in either San Diego or Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IP damages, valuation, and dispute engagements from inception through completion.
- Oversee case strategy, analysis, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality at every stage.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director based in San Diego.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in IP damages, valuation, and disputes within a consulting or litigation support environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships at senior levels.
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
