Lead Foreman- Water/Wastewater Construction
We are seeking an experienced Lead Foreman to oversee field operations on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Dallas area. This role is responsible for leading a crew, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise field crews on water/wastewater and underground utility installations including water, sewer, and storm systems, pump stations, lift stations
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew productivity
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes to ensure accurate installation
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors in the field
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations
- Track materials, equipment usage, and job progress
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule
- Train and mentor crew members to support skill development and performance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or utility construction, with leadership/foreman experience required
- Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage crews and drive productivity in the field
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and grade/line control
- Solid understanding of excavation safety, trenching, and underground utility installation
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in outdoor conditions
