We are seeking a Senior Environmental Approvals Consultant to join a dynamic and growing consultancy that delivers high-quality environmental solutions to clients in mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage environmental approvals processes under State and Commonwealth legislation.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and related reports.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on regulatory compliance and environmental risk management.
- Engage with regulators, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure timely and successful approvals.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development initiatives.
About You
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 4+ years experience in environmental approvals and impact assessment.
- Strong knowledge of WA and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes under deadlines.
