Join an international engineering consulting firm as a Sediment Remediation Practice Lead. This senior leadership role combines strategic growth, technical excellence, and project management to deliver innovative sediment remediation solutions. You will lead complex projects, mentor teams, and drive business development across the U.S. while ensuring compliance, safety, and financial success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field (Master's preferred); 7+ years consulting experience (15 years preferred).
- Proven leadership in remediation market with demonstrated sales and portfolio growth.
- Expert knowledge of sediment fate and transport, dredging, capping, and regulatory frameworks (CERCLA, RCRA, Section 401/404).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with contractors, co-workers, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth by capturing project leads, converting design projects to construction opportunities, and expanding sediment remediation sales.
- Lead teams in investigations, feasibility studies, treatability studies, conceptual site model development, remedial design, and action implementation.
- Manage large, complex sediment remediation projects, ensuring financial success, safety compliance, and QA/QC adherence.
- Oversee data collection, synthesis, and interpretation using industry-standard procedures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and client communication support on key accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong client and contractor relationships; present technical papers at professional meetings.
- Prepare cost proposals and qualification statements; achieve financial performance targets.
