An established Dallas‑based Geotechnical Engineering consulting firm is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a geotechnical engineer who can operate immediately in a Staff Engineer / Project Engineer capacity while developing toward a Senior Project Manager and future Department Lead role.
This position has been created as part of a long‑term growth and succession plan, offering a clear pathway into senior leadership for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting
- Manage field exploration programs including drilling, sampling, and laboratory testing
- Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, recommendations, and design parameters
- Review and seal geotechnical reports in accordance with state licensure requirements
- Support project management efforts including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
- Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
- Assist with proposal preparation and project scoping as responsibilities grow

Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment
