My client is a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural firm with over 20 years of success delivering complex building restoration and consulting projects across the East Coast. With a team of 180+ experts and offices in multiple states, they serve a diverse portfolio of clients across commercial, multifamily, retail, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Building Envelope Project Manager to join their New York City team.

Role Overview
As a Building Envelope Project Manager, you'll manage projects from initial inspection through design, bidding, and construction administration. You will coordinate with internal teams, interface with clients and contractors, conduct field inspections, and ensure technical accuracy and quality across all project phases.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Lead project kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings.
Perform site inspections, field measurements, and condition assessments.
Draft reports, sketches, testing protocols, and technical specs.
Oversee construction administration: review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.
Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with contracts, building codes, and industry standards.
Mentor junior staff and support technical development.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in building envelope consulting or A/E firm.
Certifications
OSHA 30
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Scaffolding Certificate
Technical & Interpersonal Skills
Strong understanding of façade, roof, and envelope systems.
Proficiency in construction documents, field reporting, and AutoCAD (preferred).
Knowledge of codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Able to work independently in the field and manage multiple projects.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
