Our client is a leading heavy civil construction firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects across Northern California. With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and innovation, they are seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Project Manager to join their team in Concord, CA.
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on paving and grading for road and highway developments. You will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing heavy road/highway projects, specifically paving and grading projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and field crews.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
