Role Summary
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning and execution of a variety of projects-ranging from residential and commercial developments to institutional and industrial facilities. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in accordance with internal project management protocols
  • Analyze geotechnical, hydrological, and topographical data to inform design decisions
  • Utilize CAD and design software to produce engineering documentation
  • Prepare cost estimates and feasibility analyses
  • Develop and revise reports, specifications, schedules, and environmental studies
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with municipalities, subcontractors, utilities, and other entities
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and standards
  • Monitor budgets and report progress to senior leadership
  • Represent projects at public meetings and regulatory forums
  • Stay current with industry codes, materials, and software
  • Support business development through client outreach
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Team Leadership
This role includes managing a team of 3-10 professionals. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), with ability to obtain licensure in additional states
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role involves both office-based work and field visits. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), site inspections, and travel. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals.
