Building Automation Estimator (Senior) - Remote
What you'll do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for building automation and controls systems
- Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce accurate, competitive pricing
- Partner with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to shape winning technical and commercial solutions
- Support pre‑sales activities including scope definition, value engineering, and risk assessment
- Maintain labour models, material pricing, vendor quotes, and estimating assumptions
- Contribute to improving estimating tools, templates, and best practices
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience estimating building automation / BMS / controls projects
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC controls, field devices, controllers, and system integration
- Proven experience estimating medium‑to‑large commercial projects
- Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure (preferred)
- Comfortable producing take‑offs, BOMs, and detailed cost breakdowns
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder communication skills
