Position: Account Sales Director
Location: Remote in New Jersey or Boston
Salary: $125k base + Commission
A global energy consultancy is looking for a strategic and results-driven Account Sales Director to lead business development across North America. This role is ideal for someone passionate about reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, with a strong focus on sustainability and impact. You'll play a key role in shaping the company's growth in the industrial manufacturing sector, helping clients improve energy efficiency while advancing the organizations mission to drive meaningful environmental chance.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Business Development Director, The Account Sales Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and expanding the customer base across North America. The role requires a strong focus on achieving sales targets while supporting the companies long-term growth and sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and marketing efforts across key sectors in North America, focusing on driving growth and expanding the market footprint.
- Follow through on agreed upon business plans, budgets and forecast and make sure sales hit or exceed the targets.
- Partner with prospective and existing clients, including key accounts, to identify and develop new business opportunities, fostering long-term, sustainable relationships that deliver mutual value.
- Drive brand visibility and strategic growth by identifying, targeting, and pursuing new business opportunities within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences sectors.
- Oversee commercial operations, including administrative responsibilities, market intelligence and competitive analysis to informs strategic decisions.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 5 + years in a senior sales or business development role within consultancy services.
- Proven success in partnering with clients across the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Life Sciences sectors, delivering impactful solutions and driving measurable outcomes.
- Strong experience in tendering, negotiating, and closing deals.
