We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Architect to lead justice-focused architectural projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring the technical execution and successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams within an established architectural framework, adhering to defined roles, responsibilities, and production standards.
- Collaborate across a multi-office practice, sharing and applying best practices for delivering exceptional projects in sectors such as civic, academic, and healthcare.
- Apply broad knowledge of architectural principles and demonstrate proficiency in their practical application.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects or components of larger initiatives.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including development, design, and construction.
- Design and detail complete projects, systems, or processes.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including specifications and project manuals.
- Understand financial, regulatory, and environmental considerations impacting project decisions.
- Utilize Revit Architecture and related design tools proficiently.
- Assign tasks and provide direction to architects, technicians, and support staff.
- Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of architectural work, including scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Perform assignments independently with minimal supervision, ensuring expected outcomes.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, attending meetings and presenting project details.
- Demonstrate leadership through effective decision-making, time management, and delegation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Licensed Architect or completion of NCARB program.
- Proficiency in Revit and complementary design tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Adaptability to evolving business needs and sound judgment in decision-making.
