Senior Civil Engineer
A respected engineering and planning firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer III to join its growing team in North Dakota. Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer III will be responsible for leading and supporting the design and execution of civil engineering projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects including roadways, site layouts, stormwater systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
- Conduct field investigations and site assessments to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training and development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Dakota or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal engineering standards and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
