A nationally recognized engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of complex electrical building systems and provide mentorship to a talented team of engineers. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across healthcare, higher education, science & technology, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex electrical systems for a variety of building types.
- Serve as a client-facing technical expert, solving design challenges in real time.
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers in both technical and soft skills.
- Oversee the development of 2D and 3D construction documents.
- Guide LEED certification efforts through documentation, calculations, and energy modeling.
- Collaborate with internal disciplines, architects, and building owners.
- Manage project planning, production, and contract administration including site visits and submittal reviews.
- Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through all phases of project delivery.
