Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute geotechnical investigations, including planning, fieldwork oversight, and data interpretation.
- Perform advanced geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, settlement, foundation design, and earth retention systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives, budgets, and schedules are met.
- Support business development efforts through client engagement and proposal preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Experience with subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, and construction observation.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with local soil conditions and regulatory requirements in Indiana.
- Experience in transportation, infrastructure, and commercial development projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
