Senior Mechanical Engineer - HYBRID
We are currently seeking a licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing consulting engineering firm with a strong presence in the commercial and healthcare building sectors. This individual will play a critical leadership role in our Nashville, TN office, overseeing the mechanical discipline and acting as a mentor to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical engineering efforts for the Nashville office
Act as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers
Review and guide design work executed by production staff
Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders
Participate in proposals and early-stage project planning
Support project quality assurance and oversee coordination with other disciplines
Utilize Revit, Bluebeam, and Navisworks primarily for review and coordination
What We're Looking For
10-15 years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems design
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial facilities
Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with Bluebeam and Navisworks
Comfortable in client-facing roles and internal team leadership
Ability to mentor junior staff and lead with a collaborative mindset
Experience across healthcare and other commercial sectors preferred
