Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in the mining sector? We are seeking a senior-level professional to join a leading consultancy specializing in dams, tailings, slurry systems, and water management infrastructure for major mining operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical design and engineering for tailings facilities, slurry pipelines, pumping systems, and water management infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance across all project phases - from feasibility studies to detailed design and implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions for global mining clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- 10+ years' experience in mechanical design within mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong background in tailings, slurry transport systems, and pumping stations.
- Previous consulting experience highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
