Senior Project Manager - Data Centers

A leading global infrastructure and building contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale data center and mission critical facilities across complex, fast‑track construction environments. This organization delivers some of the most technically advanced projects in the world, partnering with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients to execute secure, resilient, and highly reliable infrastructure.

This role is responsible for full lifecycle project delivery - from preconstruction and procurement through commissioning, turnover, and closeout - while leading cross‑functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional outcomes in safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Leadership

• Lead one or more large‑scale data center construction projects or major packages on multi‑phased campus developments.
• Provide overall direction and leadership to project teams, including project managers, engineers, superintendents, and support staff.
• Establish project execution strategies aligned with contract requirements, client expectations, and company best practices.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and performance excellence across all project phases.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for owners, developers, designers, and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, transparency, and issue resolution.
• Lead executive‑level project reviews, progress meetings, and risk mitigation discussions.

Commercial & Financial Management

• Maintain full responsibility for project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and margin.
• Manage contract administration, including change management, claims avoidance, and negotiation of amendments.
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor performance to ensure commercial alignment and schedule certainty.

Schedule & Risk Management

• Lead development and execution of detailed project schedules, milestone tracking, and recovery plans where required.
• Proactively identify project risks related to constructability, logistics, labor, supply chain, and commissioning.
• Implement mitigation strategies to support reliable on‑time and on‑budget delivery in fast‑track environments.

Technical Oversight

• Provide senior‑level oversight of critical building systems, including electrical power distribution, mechanical cooling, controls, and life safety systems.
• Partner closely with design teams and trade partners to resolve technical challenges and drive constructability.
• Support testing, commissioning, and integrated systems turnover for mission‑critical facilities.

Team Development & Mentorship

• Mentor and develop project management talent, supporting career progression and leadership growth.
• Promote collaboration across operations, preconstruction, safety, quality, and project controls teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and operational best practices across the business.
