Senior Resident Engineer
A well-established engineering consulting firm providing high-quality Construction Management, Land Surveying, and Systems Integration services to public and private clients is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for their Concord office.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as an owner's representative
- Attending and running client and contractor meetings
- Reviewing plans and specifications and ensuring compliance
- Providing project documentation (letters, RFI/Submittal responses, change orders, etc.)
- Overseeing field inspection and supervising project inspection teams
- Maintaining project controls including cost and schedule management
Qualifications:
- Experience with proposal preparation and client management
- Ability to direct and manage staff
- BS in Construction Management, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in California
- 10+ years of industry experience, 5 years managing construction projects or working as a resident engineer for a public agency
- Aptitude and passion to help win work
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $180,000- $220,000
- 401(k) with matching at 3%
