Senior Structural Engineer
A nationally recognized engineering firm with offices across the U.S. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its Woodland Hills, CA office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience in building design who's ready to lead projects and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment.
The firm works on a wide range of projects including commercial, institutional, and government buildings. The ideal candidate will be a licensed PE or SE with strong experience in steel, concrete, and wood structures, and a solid understanding of structural analysis and detailing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design efforts for buildings using steel, concrete, and wood
- Perform and oversee analysis, detailing, and coordination with project teams
- Manage engineers and drafters to deliver high-quality drawings
- Support construction phases with responsive engineering input
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to department growth
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
- PE or SE license (any state); CA SE preferred
- 10+ years of experience in building design
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with ETABS, RISA, SAFE
- Bonus: Experience with DSA, OSHPD, and multi-discipline project management
