Senior Water Resources PM

A leading employee-owned consulting firm with over 2,400 professionals nationwide is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value engineering and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong leadership, technical, and business development skills.

Role Overview: The Senior PM will oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, and budget; coordinating multidisciplinary teams; and driving client satisfaction through strategic execution and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects with a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and performance metrics

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Manage sub-consultants and internal resources

  • Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders

  • Support marketing efforts, proposal development, and client engagement

  • Mentor team members and foster professional growth

  • Identify strategic opportunities and contribute to business development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited)

  • PE license required

  • 15+ years of experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bentley ORD, Civil 3D, ICPR, SWMM, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with county/state clients and business development

Preferred:

  • ENV SP, CAPM or PMP certification

  • Familiarity with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3 delivery methods

  • Experience in stream restoration and water quality projects

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
