Site Assessment and Remediation Seller/Doer
An established and highly respected environmental and water resources consulting firm is seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer to join its growing Site Assessment and Remediation team in Sacramento, California. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex environmental investigation and remediation projects for public- and private-sector clients.
Oversee the development of work plans, feasibility studies, remedial designs, and regulatory strategies.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and lead proposal efforts.
Provide technical and strategic guidance to multidisciplinary project teams.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Serve as a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, hydrogeology, or remediation technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, with significant experience in site assessment and remediation.
Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development.
Strong knowledge of California and federal environmental regulations (e.g., DTSC, Water Boards, EPA).
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Salary Range:
$160,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
