Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing a large project team or multiple project teams, as well as overseeing several small projects. The position includes responsibility for staffing decisions and conducting performance evaluations. The individual in this role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned project team(s).


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular project status updates to clients and internal leadership.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while continuously identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
  • Develop and implement project strategies.
  • Manage financial elements of projects, including budget reports, cost and revenue projections, and change orders.
  • Participate in project meetings with internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Delegate work effectively and mentor project team members; provide coaching and performance feedback when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of overall industry experience, including at least 5 years in a people‑management capacity.
  • Mastery-level knowledge of systems design (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and understanding of all associated design engineering processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, clients, and general contractors.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing large teams.
  • Confident public speaking skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel.
