Staff Engineer - Roadway
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Canton. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects that make a real impact on communities. You will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to innovative solutions in roadway design, traffic analysis, and transportation planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of transportation projects, including roadway, intersection, and traffic improvements.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to support project recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Support project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in transportation engineering (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and traffic analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO and state DOT standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- EIT certification preferred; PE license a plus.
