Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design for diverse building types using steel, concrete, timber, and cold-formed steel systems.
  • Manage projects through all phases: analysis, calculations, and construction documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors; ensure QA/QC compliance.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and site visits.
  • Incorporate advanced design methodologies and emerging materials technologies.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least one U.S. state.
  • Minimum 7 years of structural design experience in commercial or multi-residential projects.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis/design software for steel, concrete, and timber systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance-based design, modular construction, or seismic retrofit.
  • Familiarity with sustainability standards and innovative materials.
  • Prior leadership in project coordination and mentoring.
