Structural Engineer | Entertainment Project Manager
A nationally recognized structural engineering firm is seeking experienced and driven Structural Engineers to join their growing teams in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Phoenix. Key Responsibilities
This person will design and detail efficient structures that are code compliant, accurate, and of high quality. The incumbent will act as Project Engineer or Project Manager on multiple projects, manage resources and deadlines, and engage in business development practices to support ongoing work.
- Design and detail structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
- Lead project coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Use BIM tools such as Revit for modeling and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Ensure compliance with local codes and construction practices
- Participate in internal initiatives to improve processes and innovation
What They're Looking For
The successful candidate should be passionate about engineering, eager to grow, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills are essential.
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience, demonstrating growth in project management experience; theme park and live event project experience is preferred
- BS in engineering, MS preferred
- BIM (Revit) experience a plus
- Proven ability to manage successful project teams
- Strong client relationship experience and the ability to manage complex projects
- PE or SE license
- Ability to travel for site visits
