Substation Project Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Substation Project Manager to lead the execution of complex electrical infrastructure projects across North Carolina. This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals with a strong background in substation construction, project leadership, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of substation construction projects from planning through closeout
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and safety compliance
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in substation or heavy industrial project management
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
