The company is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to join the team. This role is crucial to the growth in the southeast region of one of the leading national general contractors. The ideal candidate will step in quickly to manage ongoing requisitions and to oversee the entire recruitment cycle.
Key responsibilities of the Commercial Construction Talent Acquisition Lead include:
- Partner with business leaders and the HR team to develop and publish requisitions, including crafting prequalification questions for job postings.
- Actively source talent through resume databases, professional associations, college recruitment events, networking, partner recruiting platforms, and initial phone screenings.
- Manage the candidate experience by coordinating phone and in-person interviews, ensuring timely communication at every stage, assisting with travel arrangements when needed, and facilitating the offer process between candidates, hiring managers, and HR leadership.
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports for HR leadership.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating and promoting professional conduct.
Key requirements of the Commercial Construction Talent Acquisition Lead include:
- Construction industry recruitment experience within the southeast of the United States, specifically Florida and Georgia.
- Full cycle recruitment expertise and a working knowledge with an ATS.
- Planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
- A background in agency or in-house recruitment.
