Technology Designer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate technology system designs (including information communication technology, audiovisual, and security systems) from concept through construction with minimal oversight.
- Support new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
- Perform design and documentation for structured cabling systems, electronic security systems, audiovisual systems, paging, nurse call, and intercom/clock/paging systems.
- Apply sustainable and resilient technology strategies within building design.
- Collaborate effectively with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Utilize working knowledge of applicable building, electrical, and low-voltage codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 72, BICSI, TIA, AVIXA).
- Develop engineering documentation using Revit and prepare markups or direction for production staff.
- Create and update Division 27/28 Master Specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- RCDD certification
- AVIXA CTS‑D certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 - $130,000
