Are you a seasoned BIM professional with a strong background in plumbing detailing and a passion for healthcare construction? We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead and elevate our Building Information Modeling efforts on complex exciting projects in the Houston area. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across all project phases.
- Oversee the coordination and integration of mechanical and plumbing systems within multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality, clash-free models that support efficient construction.
- Manage and mentor a team of BIM technicians and detailers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Conduct model reviews, quality checks, and clash detection using tools such as Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD MEP.
- Ensure compliance with client BIM requirements and industry standards, particularly within the healthcare sector.
- Support preconstruction and estimating teams with accurate model-based quantity takeoffs and visualizations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in BIM management with a focus on Mechanical and Plumbing ideally in the Healthcare and Commercial Sector.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
- Strong understanding of healthcare construction codes, standards, and coordination challenges.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and innovation.
