💰 Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 base
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects for municipal clients across Ohio.
This is a growth-oriented role ideal for engineers with 4-7 years of experience who are ready to take on more responsibility, contribute to impactful projects, and grow into future leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers in the execution of water infrastructure projects from design through construction
- Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, and construction documents
- Perform hydraulic modeling and design calculations for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams including CAD designers, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies
- Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
- 4-7 years of experience in water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D preferred
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with Ohio EPA and other regulatory requirements
