Position Overview
This senior-level role is ideal for a technically strong and strategically minded engineer ready to lead water resources and stormwater initiatives. As Technical Lead, you'll guide project teams, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in shaping the firm's technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution of H&H modeling, stormwater design, and civil infrastructure projects
- Provide oversight on project strategy, delivery, and quality assurance
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within a collaborative team environment
- Engage with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in water resources or civil infrastructure
- P.E. license in Illinois or ability to obtain
- Proficiency in tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, Civil 3D, and GIS
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary up to $180,000
