A highly respected, water-focused engineering consulting firm is seeking a Water Sector Lead to drive growth and project delivery across its Southern California portfolio. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape major infrastructure programs, lead strategic client relationships, and contribute to the continued expansion of a well-established water practice.
The Opportunity
This role is suited to a proven leader who combines technical expertise, client engagement, and business development within the water sector. You will play a central role in guiding project strategy, developing key client relationships, and positioning the firm for continued success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a portfolio of water and wastewater projects across the Los Angeles region
- Serve as a primary relationship manager for municipal and regional clients
- Provide strategic oversight across project delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, supporting proposals and project pursuits
- Collaborate with technical leaders to deliver innovative, high-quality engineering solutions
- Mentor and develop project managers and engineering staff
- Contribute to broader regional growth strategy and market positioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 12-15+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Proven experience in client leadership, project delivery, and business development
- Strong track record working with municipal water clients
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including team development and strategic planning

Compensation
$180,000 - $220,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits.
