🌊 Role Overview
The selected candidate will provide technical leadership on treatment system design and optimization, working closely with clients and internal teams from concept through construction. Occasional site visits will be required to observe and troubleshoot field activities related to treatment processes. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone passionate about innovation, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Technical Focus
* Evaluate and recommend treatment technologies for water and wastewater systems
* Develop feasibility studies, technical reports, and preliminary designs
* Perform process modeling and calculations
* Produce detailed design documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Project Execution
* Lead and manage multiple treatment projects simultaneously
* Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and contract negotiations
* Coordinate with clients and subconsultants to ensure successful outcomes
* Monitor team performance and recommend adjustments to meet project goals
* Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events
📌 Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in California's water/wastewater sector
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
* Professional Engineer (PE) license required (California preferred)
* Strong understanding of project budgeting and financial metrics
* Proven leadership, mentoring, and technical decision-making skills

* Salary Range: $130,000 - $208,000/year (based on experience and location)

🏢 Work Schedule
