We are seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Project Manager (PE) to lead complex, high-impact projects across the U.S. This position is intentionally designed as a launchpad into a Regional Lead role, supported by a formal succession plan and a fast-track advancement path for high performers.
This role offers full remote flexibility, exposure to large-scale and technically challenging projects, and the opportunity to shape long-term regional strategy within a growing national platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater treatment and process engineering projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining long-term relationships built on trust and technical excellence
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration within a flat organizational structure
- Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure successful delivery of large, multi-disciplinary projects
- Review and approve engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with internal leadership on regional growth initiatives, business development, and succession planning
- Support the firm's continued expansion along the East Coast and nationally
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
- Proven experience managing water and/or wastewater treatment projects
- Strong technical background in process design, treatment systems, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated leadership ability with interest in long-term growth and regional responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
