Water/Wastewater Project Manager
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects in Richmond, Virginia. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale water and wastewater projects from planning through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and project alignment.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and junior engineers.
- Support business development efforts through client engagement and proposal preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater project management.
- Strong knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems, treatment processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
