A nationally recognized engineering and infrastructure consulting firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join its growing municipal infrastructure team in Austin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients and key stakeholders.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client meetings, and project interviews.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and utility providers throughout project execution.
  • Mentor and support junior engineering staff while contributing to overall team growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
  • Proven experience managing municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, conveyance infrastructure, and treatment facilities.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
