Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Development Associate to support the development of onshore wind power projects across Japan. This role is ideal for individuals with early-career experience in infrastructure, real estate, or industrial development who are eager to grow within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site screening and preliminary feasibility assessments
- Support landowner outreach and assist in securing land agreements
- Assist in preparing permit applications and coordinating with local authorities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for surveys and assessments
- Maintain project documentation and development schedules
- Conduct market and regulatory research related to wind energy
- Prepare internal reports and presentation materials
Qualifications
- Native-level Japanese; basic English proficiency preferred
- Valid driver's license
- 1-3 years of experience in infrastructure, real estate, or industrial project development
- Interest in renewable energy and willingness to learn technical and regulatory aspects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel domestically for site visits and meetings
