Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Financial Oversight

  • Direct and manage the P&L performance of the AV division, meeting or exceeding GP and NGP targets while controlling costs and optimizing margin opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the division's strategic direction in alignment with corporate goals and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget, including headcount planning, capital investments, material forecasting, and training allocation.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial reporting, and forecasting to ensure transparency, accountability, and financial health of the division.

Division Development & Market Expansion

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for AV service offerings, including standard system designs and scalable delivery models.
  • Cultivate and maintain key manufacturer relationships to secure preferred partnerships, training programs, and access to emerging technologies.
  • Establish strategic agreements with distributors to leverage volume pricing, special project rates, and streamline procurement practices.
  • Implement repeatable and measurable operational processes that ensure project lifecycle efficiency and scalable service delivery.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Support and mentor Sales and Pre-Sales teams, shaping strategies for high-value project pursuits.
  • Represent the AV division at industry events, building brand awareness and forging key client and partner relationships.
  • Engage directly with clients to build trust, understand business needs, and ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Oversee the delivery lifecycle to ensure client expectations, timelines, and budgetary goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Team Leadership & Organizational Growth

  • Build and lead a high-performance AV team through strategic hiring, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Align team objectives with business targets and ensure all stakeholders-from project managers to field staff-have clear priorities and support.
  • Promote ongoing professional development through certifications, cross-training, and technical workshops.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the AV industry, with a proven track record of leadership in technical operations, business development, and/or systems integration.
  • At least 7 years of direct P&L responsibility, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, and delivering sustained profitability.
  • Deep understanding of AV system design, integration, project management, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex vendor and distributor relationships with a focus on pricing strategy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable execution plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I Certification
  • MBA or equivalent business education
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, project cost tracking tools, and CRM platforms
