Our client, a respected and long-standing AV integration firm, is seeking an experienced AV Service Manager to oversee their technical service operations across Illinois. This is a critical role focused on managing post-installation support, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving service excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the AV service department.

  • Supervise service technicians and coordinate scheduling for service calls, maintenance, and upgrades.

  • Ensure service tickets are resolved promptly, effectively, and in alignment with SLAs.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.

  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and long-term client support.

  • Monitor service metrics, provide reporting, and implement strategies for improvement.

  • Oversee inventory and repair processes for AV equipment and parts.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial AV industry, with at least 2 in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, etc.).

  • Proven ability to manage service workflows and support teams across multiple projects.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with service ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or internal CRMs).

  • Certifications (CTS, CTS-I, or manufacturer-specific) are a plus.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally as needed.
