We're working with an established engineering consulting firm with a 25+ year history in building enclosure, structural evaluation, and forensic engineering is seeking a detail‑oriented AutoCAD Project Manager. The firm has grown from a small regional practice into a multi‑office consultancy known for its technical depth, long‑term client relationships, and hands‑on approach to solving building performance issues. This role blends CAD production with project coordination, supporting a wide range of repair, restoration, and investigative projects across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings for roofing, waterproofing, building envelope, and structural repair projects.
  • Prepare plans, details, sections, and specifications in alignment with firm standards.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and field teams to ensure drawings reflect site conditions and project requirements.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, and contractor RFIs for accuracy.
  • Assist with report preparation and supporting documentation following site evaluations.
  • Maintain drawing libraries and ensure compliance with company CAD standards.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within AEC, structural, roofing, or building enclosure environments.
  • Proven experience managing project schedules and deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of building construction, detailing, and materials.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Revit experience is a plus.
