Work Arrangement: Flexible Schedule / Field & Hybrid Work

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Building Automation Technician with strong hands-on experience in Distech, Tridium Niagara, and/or Delta Controls to join our growing Nashville-based team. This is a high-impact, technical role working on some of the most demanding environments in the industry-including large commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and mission-critical data centers.

You'll be trusted to take systems from the ground up-installing, programming, troubleshooting, and delivering fully functional BAS solutions that perform reliably in real-world, high-stakes environments. If you enjoy owning your work end-to-end and want a clear, guaranteed path into leadership, this role offers both challenge and long-term opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Program DDC and BAS platforms (Distech, Tridium Niagara, Delta) from scratch, including controllers, networks, and integrations
  • Install and commission Building Automation Systems on site
  • Develop and customize graphics, dashboards, and user interfaces
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across live systems
  • Integrate third-party devices and systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and commissioning teams
  • Support system startups, testing, commissioning, and client handover
  • Provide technical support and system optimization for existing installations
  • Ensure system quality, performance, and compliance with project specifications

    • System architecture and device integration
    • Graphics and UI development
  • Proven ability to install, commission, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
  • Experience on large commercial, healthcare, or data center projects
  • Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • Manufacturer or Niagara certifications
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems and networking
  • Exposure to analytics, fault detection, or energy management platforms
