Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of BAS / BMS projects
- Own project scope, programme, budget, and risk management
- Coordinate controls engineers, site technicians, and subcontractors
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage project schedules, resourcing, and procurement
- Oversee design coordination, submittals, and technical documentation
- Track costs, variations, change orders, and forecasting
- Support commissioning, client handover, and close‑out activities
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements
- Report project status to senior management
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing building automation / controls projects
- Strong understanding of BAS / BMS systems and HVAC fundamentals
- Experience working with controls contractors or systems integrators
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Confident communicator with clients, engineers, and site teams
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced project environments
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with large commercial, healthcare, or mission‑critical projects
- Exposure to platforms such as Tridium, Siemens, JCI, Honeywell (high‑level)
- Background as a controls engineer or technician before moving into PM
- Formal project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
