About the Role:
Our client in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a BIM Technician to support their structural design team on a variety of projects, including hospitality, entertainment, high-rise residential and commercial properties, and public buildings. The role involves working closely with a BIM Coordinator on larger projects and contributing to the production of accurate, well-organized drawings and models that meet office standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert sketches or outputs from analytical software into 3D models
  • Organize and coordinate details on drawings, including plan sections and detail cuts
  • Create sheets based on direction from the BIM Coordinator or engineers
  • Review and interpret drawings from other disciplines
  • Produce clear, concise, and well-assembled sheets within established standards
  • Complete tasks so they can be seamlessly integrated into overall project documentation

Qualifications:

  • Combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production, design, drafting, and modeling within the AEC industry
  • Associate's degree in computerized drafting with emphasis on BIM modeling and document production preferred
  • BIM modeling certification preferred

Software Requirements:

  • Required: REVIT, Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to: Photoshop, Bluebeam, Rhino, AutoCAD
